Please watch the Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society (LWMS) Fall Rally at Bethlehem, which was held on Saturday, October 1. Our featured mission project was the same as the 2022-23 kids c.a.r.e. project, Hispanic Family Ministry Outreach. This LWMS project is in conjunction with the Academia Cristo program spearheaded by the Latin America team. Watch a two-minute video on that program toward the bottom of this page. Keynote Speaker Biography
Margaret Solomon is a Christ-follower from Star of Bethlehem, Winston-Salem, NC. She shares her story to inspire others to rest completely in the arms of God Almighty. Jesus is her Reliable Rock and has been from as far back as she can remember. She has four siblings, three children, her husband and five grandchildren who God has used to help her survive some of life’s toughest challenges, including stage four cancer. Currently in remission, her mission is to share the hope of Jesus’ love and protection, She wants to encourage those who assist others like those who helped her through this miraculous event which confounded her medical team. Her Christ-centered message is one of hope which she gleans from Psalm 41:1-3, “Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble. The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.”
